Affordable, open-source instrumentation for school science labs & university research
We built a family of tough, laboratory-grade ESP32-based modules that give you scientific precision without the usual high cost or complexity:
1. Precision Temperature Measurement & Control
• Pt100 sensors with ±0.01 K accuracy
• Full PID control
2. Versatile Data Acquisition Support for virtually any lab sensor:
• Standard pressure transducers (0–5 V, 0–10 V, 4–20 mA)
• Barometric sensors (BMP280, BMP390, BMP585, …)
• Analog mass flow meters • NDIR CO₂ sensors (SCD30, MH-Z16, …)
• Electrochemical gas sensors (MQ series, …)
• Electrical conductivity sensors

3. Stepper-Motor Actuator Control
• Continuous flow (peristaltic or diaphragm pumps, …)
• Precise dosing (motor-driven syringes)
Everything speaks the same language All modules are native MQTT clients – they connect instantly to local or cloud brokers (ioBroker, Home Assistant, Node-RED, Blynk, …). Think of it as live chat with your instruments.
Built for real labs
• Standardized, fool-proof connectors – impossible to plug the wrong cable into the wrong socket
• Extremely low cost – typically 10× cheaper than e.g. National Instruments modules
• Deliberately simple and modular – a motivated 15-year-old Arduino enthusiast can understand and build them
• Minimal switches & knobs – everything is controlled cleanly via MQTT messages
• Fully general-purpose and reusable (we chose ESP32 over Raspberry Pi on purpose to keep every module independent)
Targeted at schools and universities Everything is open source and free – anyone can build, modify and use it. We looked everywhere but couldn’t find anything comparable. That’s why we built it.
